This place is fantastic! The service is great and portions are huge. Everything on the menu that i have tried has been great. My favorite is the corned beef hash, but I'm also partial to their pancakes. Their biscuits are not the best I've ever had, but are still very good. Their cinnamon rolls are huge and also very tasty. I've never had bad service at Brown Bag. It is typically very good. I make a point to stop in at least once when I'm in town. If you are hungry, do yourself a favor and check them out!

Lives up to its name with very generous portions. They do not skimp on quality, and I have always had a great meal. Fantastic deal for the price - I can get 2 or 3 meals out of one dish, and the price is not noticeably higher than at other diners that serve smaller portions.

Went on a Sunday a little after noon and it was quite busy, parking was scarce. It party of 3 was seated after about a 10 minute wait, and service was prompt and friendly. The food did take a fair bit of time to arrive, though; the kitchen was apparently not keeping up with the rush quite as well as the rest of the operation. I had the Portobello sandwich with a salad. The salad was nothing special, heavy on the iceberg lettuce, but the sandwich was very good, nicely cooked ingredients paired with a really tasty bread. My partner had a garden omelette, which was well cooked and stuffed with nice vegetables. The omelette came with a huge pile of hash browns and a biscuit with butter. She only managed to eat about half of it before declaring defeat. Overall a nice spot for diner style food, we will certainly be back.

Excellent food and friendly service. This place is crazy packed on the weekends - only open until 3pm every day. It's a perfect lunch spot with a diverse menu and super generous portions. The most amazing feature is the fact that every dish is about 2 meals worth of food (we always have leftovers to take home) the price is VERY reasonable. Almost always less than $20 a head including tip. The dishes are rich and creative. The Hobo is a scrambe or omelet with mushrooms , onions and corned beef and a HUGE amount of cheddar cheese. I also like all of the pancake dishes like the Big Mike. There are tons of lunch favorites as well - hot sandwiches and the like - it's classic comfort food with a creative twist. Oh, and the coffee is really good. Definitely check it out!

I have the cinnamon roll French toast. I almost finish the whole thing, and every bite was delicious. The restaurant was clean and we were seated quickly and the wait staff was very attentive. The only thing that can improve the experience is that they need to offer something other than percolator coffee which tasted a little burnt.

you'd better be hungry. The portions here are very generous, and at a little over $10 per dish, you are most definitely getting a fair share. Portions aside, the breakfast here is very good, i've tried only a few things on the lunch menu and it's always been good. the service has never disappointed me. If I have one qualm, it's the parking. the restaurant itself is pretty big but the parking lot can get full before the restaurant does. Go early or late, otherwise I am sure there will be a wait for a table on the weekends.

I've eaten here around a dozen times. It's a heart attack inducing place to eat, so American portions are abound. The food is abundantly large, delicious and plenty of choices. The servers are all very sweet and quick to give you their favorites off the menu.
